LucasArts was an American video game developer and publisher founded by George Lucas in May 1982 as Lucasfilm Games. Known for SCUMM-engine adventure games (Monkey Island, Maniac Mansion) and Star Wars titles, it was shut down by Disney in April 2013 after the Lucasfilm acquisition. The Lucasfilm Games name was revived in 2021.
