Apple began testing Intel's 18A-P process for low-end and legacy iPhone, iPad, and Mac processors, with production targeted for 2027 and ramp-up through 2029. TSMC will still manufacture 90% of Apple's chips; Intel's output will focus primarily on iPhone processors.
