Insider Jeff Grubb suggested Marvel's Blade from Arkane Lyon "might be dead" after the game skipped Xbox Games Showcase, though Arkane still lists the project on its website. Studio director Dinga Bakaba said in late 2024 the team was "hard at work" on the title.
