As Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced's underwater levels draw praise, dev says those responsible are "being fired right now because Ubisoft thinks that's what we deserve"

Ubisoft Barcelona is laying off 51 developers from its Assassin's Creed team at the end of July, despite Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced receiving critical acclaim and achieving the series' biggest Steam launch. A tech animator at the studio responded to praise for the underwater levels, saying the team responsible "is being fired right now."
