Final Fantasy producer Naoki Yoshida said Square Enix won't remake Final Fantasy 6, 8, or 9 after the FF7 Remake trilogy concludes in 2027. Yoshi-P explained those games are too large in scope; remaking them would require four or five installments instead of three.
