IO Interactive to shutter Istanbul studio following end of Project Fantasy deal with Xbox

IO Interactive closed its Istanbul studio and made staffing cuts following Xbox's withdrawal from its Project Fantasy funding deal. The Istanbul studio, opened in 2023, contributed to IO's Hitman and 007: First Light projects. IO retains full ownership of Project Fantasy and will fund development independently.
