Nintendo is discontinuing Switch 1 sales in Europe starting mid-February 2027, citing EU Right to Repair laws requiring easy battery replacement. The company will continue selling Switch 1 outside Europe. Switch 2 and accessories are being redesigned to comply with the regulation.
