Yoshitaka Amano announced ZAN, an anime adaptation of his 2013 artbook, set for 2028 or later release. The hand-drawn series features veteran animation directors and will be produced by Amano's new Los Angeles-based studio, which is also developing two additional unannounced animated projects.
