OpenAI released GPT-Live-1 and GPT-Live-1 mini, full-duplex voice models that support simultaneous speaking and listening, interruption, and live translation. The new models replace ChatGPT's Advanced Voice Mode by default and integrate with GPT-5.5 for search and reasoning capabilities.
