Path of Exile 2 fixed two long-standing technical issues with Nvidia drivers: device-removed crashes affecting end-game performance, and shader compilation slowdowns caused by cache folder bloat. Grinding Gear Games worked with Nvidia for 18 months to validate and resolve the problems via driver version 680.88 and a new patch.
