Toys for Bob bought its independence from Microsoft following the Activision Blizzard acquisition, studio head Paul Yan said in an interview with GamesRadar+. Under Activision ownership, the studio was repeatedly assigned to support Call of Duty, Warzone, Modern Warfare, and Overwatch 2 despite being known for platformers like Spyro and Crash Bandicoot.
