The Streets of Rage live-action film adaptation has recruited Sonic the Hedgehog writers Pat Casey and Josh Miller, plus director Jeymes Samuel (The Harder They Fall). The project, in development at Lionsgate since 2022, is undergoing a heavy rewrite with no release window yet announced.
