Warframe's next major update blends Blade Runner, The Sopranos, and film noir in a whole new solar system, coming later this year

Digital Extremes revealed Warframe: Tau, a major expansion launching later in 2026 featuring a new Tau solar system and the ringed city of Fornax. The update introduces detective Warframe Brysko (voiced by Matthew Mercer), new mission types, and themes around addiction and an organic drug substance called The Bloom.
