Xbox is laying off 3,200 employees over the next year, with 1,600 cuts effective immediately across Activision, Bethesda, Blizzard, King, Mojang, and Xbox Game Studios. Double Fine and Compulsion Games will become independent with their IP and runway; Ninja Theory and Undead Labs are joining new ownership with funding to complete Senua and State of Decay 3.
