Former BioWare producer Mark Darrah says a Dragon Age trilogy remaster is unlikely because no current BioWare staff understand the proprietary Aurora, Eclipse, and Lycium engines used by the original games. Unlike Mass Effect's Legendary Edition, which used Unreal, a remaster would require a brand new team and significant resources.
