Former BioWare producer Mark Darrah says a Dragon Age trilogy remaster is unlikely because no current BioWare staff understand the Aurora Engine used in the original games. Unlike Mass Effect's remaster, which used Unreal Engine, Dragon Age's proprietary engines would require a brand-new team to modernize.
